A French-American artist living in the US, Gwenn Seemel advocates passionately for a world in which art is distributed and modified freely, while never for a moment expecting artists to work for free. In her talk, she’ll invite you to let your art and yourself out of the ©-shaped cage that confines us all by explaining the 6 steps that lead to the public domain and a true culture of freedom.

Gwenn Seemel
Gwenn Seemel has been a full-time artist for over a decade now. Mostly American, she’s also more than a little bit French and she has the passport to prove it. Her art has been featured on OWNI, BoingBoing, and Hyperallergic, and her radical free culture advocacy took her to TEDxGeneva in 2014.
