With the rise of the mobile devices, the IOT ("Internet of Things") and all media devices, home networks become a critical environment for all the family members. If a common home network is based on a Internet connection with a "box" providing wireless & wired services, it is clear that there is a clear lack of control. More and more devices require an Internet connectivity to properly operate. Do you allow them? Do you know what information they send to cloud services? Do you welcome your kids’ friends on your network? Does your neighbors share your Wireless access?
In this presentation, I’ll explain you how to improve the security of your home network based on simple Free Software tools.
