Digital technologies have an increasing impact on the practice of health professionals.

But what about their ethics? Are professional secrecy and professional independence preserved through the digital revolution?

This conference will demonstrate that yes, medical ethics can be preserved, and even enhanced, in the digital era, with
an exclusive and informed use of libre software by health professionals.

Then, because their use of libre software is currently very low, how to migrate its professions faster?

Nicolas Floquet
Doctor of pharmacy, graduated from the Faculty of Lille, Nicolas has written an exercise thesis demonstrating that non-free software are not compatible with their ethics, particularly regarding medical confidentiality and professional independence.

Today, while contributing to the emergence of solutions that will enable the replacement of proprietary software throughout the health sector (www.librehealthcare.org) Nicolas makes its expertise available to all within its self business (www.logibaba.flqt.fr).
