Free software is defined according to 4 freedoms. Freedom #0 of free software is freedom to execute the program. What happens when it is impossible, for somebody in a handicap situation, to execute it due to its inaccessibility? Is the software still free? Perhaps, but its user is not. How to get out of this dead end? This conference targets anybody who thinks that human people are equal concerning rights, and that access freedom should also benefit handicaped people.

Armony ALTINIER
Armony proudly claims that all human beings are equal in law, and that disable people are humans.

Hence, free software and accessibility must go together to allow real freedom for everybody.

She founded the association Liberté 0 to support that idea.

She is leader of the company Access42, specialized in digital accessibility and has been, as such, one of the authors of référentiel général d’accessibilité pour les administrations (RGAA 3).
