Threads : Accessibility

Video is a great media to convey ideas another way than text, notably on the Web which remains a communication vector mostly based on writing.

It happens that it is important to take into account some rules so that these videos can be beneficial for everybody, with no discrimination.

Transcription, subtitling, audiodescription, video player accessible through keyboard and screen reader, we will see in details the rules to follow to include all publics and will propose tips & tricks thanks to free tools allowing to meet this challenge: free and accessible video.

Armony proudly claims that all human beings are equal in law, and that disable people are humans.

Hence, free software and accessibility must go together to allow real freedom for everybody.

She founded the association Liberté 0 to support that idea.

She is leader of the company Access42, specialized in digital accessibility and has been, as such, one of the authors of référentiel général d’accessibilité pour les administrations (RGAA 3).
