Disabled people are jailed in their body, in their disability, and only technical helps or custom hardware can help them to live in society in spite of the constraint.

However can one find custom hardware easily and for a reasonable cost? otherwise, one must do an additionnal adaptation effort and face the economic disability.

How can Libre/Free techniques help one to overcome this hardware issue?

And 3D techniques?

Jean-Philippe MENGUAL:

Linux user since year 2004, he is currently administrator of Liberté0 and of accelibreinfo. Since year 2008, he is part of many projects bound to accessibility of free software(a group in April, translations, QA of Libreoffice).

Armony proudly claims that all human beings are equal in law, and that disable people are humans.

Hence, free software and accessibility must go together to allow real freedom for everybody.

She founded the association Liberté 0 to support that idea.

She is leader of the company Access42, specialized in digital accessibility and has been, as such, one of the authors of référentiel général d’accessibilité pour les administrations (RGAA 3).
